Our Impact
Transforming Lives Through Reliable Transportation
For over a decade, A Good Shepherd has been a lifeline for Maryland families — connecting generous donors with those who need mobility most.
Driven by Your Generosity
Give the Gift of Getting There
That sitting car collecting dust could be someone else's lifeline — giving them the freedom to get to work, rebuild their life, and move forward with confidence.
Your Donation. Their Journey.
We take donated vehicles, give them new life, and put them in the hands of people who need reliable transportation to reach their full potential.
Who We Serve
Transportation is a Lifeline, Not a Luxury
For many disadvantaged, low-income individuals and families, not having a means of transportation is often the single greatest obstacle standing between them and access to employment, healthcare, education, and places of worship. We exist to remove that obstacle — with dignity.

What Every Recipient Receives
More Than a Car — A Complete Package
Every vehicle placed through A Good Shepherd comes with a full suite of benefits to help families succeed from day one.
Maryland State Inspection
Each vehicle is fully road-certified and has passed a valid Maryland inspection prior to being delivered to a recipient individual or family.
A good shepherd does more than lead—he discerns, guides, and safeguards the path of those entrusted to his care. In much the same way, the act of donating a vehicle becomes an instrument of forward motion, granting another the means to progress with dignity and renewed purpose.
Perfection is not a prerequisite for impact; even an imperfect car can serve as a catalyst for meaningful change. It is through such deliberate acts of generosity that we shape a more humane and hopeful world—one offering, one life transformed at a time.
Be discerning. Be magnanimous. Be a good shepherd.
