A Good Shepherd, Inc. invites dedicated individuals (ages 19+) and organizations to contribute their unique talents to our mission. Whether you are an automotive professional, a corporate leader, or a community representative, your expertise is the engine that drives our success.

Volunteer Opportunities

Certified Mechanics & Technicians: We are seeking certified professionals to provide expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure donated vehicles are safe, reliable, and roadworthy for recipients.

Garages & Service Centers: We invite established garages and service centers to collaborate with us by providing bay space and/or discounted specialized services. Your partnership plays a critical role in preparing safe, reliable vehicles for those in need.

Towing & Logistics Providers: We invite experienced towing and logistics providers to partner with us in coordinating the safe, timely transport of donated vehicles to our facilities and partners. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and success of our vehicle donation program.

Automotive Enthusiasts: We are seeking detail-oriented automotive enthusiasts to assist with vehicle detailing and minor cosmetic restoration. Your efforts help enhance the quality and presentation of donated vehicles, contributing to a positive and dignified experience for recipients.

Operational & Administrative Support: Seeking skills include efficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (nonprofit experience preferred) for document creation, data analysis, presentations, and email management, supporting productivity and effective operations across industries.

Partner Liaison Coordinator: Seeking an experienced nonprofit professional to manage partner relationships, communication, and collaboration to support our mission.

Grant Writers & Development Specialists: Seeking experienced professionals to secure funding for a 2–3 bay automotive repair facility in Montgomery County, Maryland—providing affordable repairs and workforce training to support transportation access and economic stability.
